The SV280B is Case Construction's vertical-lift B Series skid steer, and it is the heaviest wheeled loader in our fleet at a 2,800 lb rated operating capacity. On bulk work, stripping topsoil, loading gravel, cleaning up after a demo, the extra bucket capacity means fewer passes, and fewer passes is the whole game when you are paying for a machine by the day.
The vertical lift geometry gives full lift height with the load held in tight, so it clears the sides of a tandem or a bin comfortably. At 72 inches wide it is a commercial-site machine first, and worth measuring your access before you book it for a residential lot. If the gate is tight, the S66 or S450 will get in where this one will not.
It runs the same attachment carrier as the rest of our loaders, so the smooth bucket, tooth bucket, forks, breaker, auger and broom all fit it. Tell us the material and the access and we will confirm this is the right machine before it goes on the float.
