A valid credit card and ID. Larger machines also need proof of insurance — contractors usually have this on file already, and if you are a homeowner we will tell you exactly what your rental needs when you book. That is it. No account setup, no membership.
Float delivery runs daily across Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Mississauga, Hamilton and Georgetown. Book the machine for the morning and it is on site before the crew's coffee is done. Have the drop spot clear: a driveway, a stretch of curb or a gate wide enough for the machine. Smaller towable equipment — compactors, heaters, pumps — can leave the yard behind your own truck from Monday to Friday, 7 to 5.
If it is your first time on the machine, say so. The driver walks you through controls, daily checks and fuel at drop-off, and the yard is a phone call away all rental long. We would much rather spend ten minutes at drop-off than have you fight the machine all weekend.
Rent for the day if the job is a weekend dig. Need it three days or more? Ask about the weekly rate — it is usually the better math. Longer projects go monthly, and ongoing work is what leasing is for. When you are done, call in the off-rent and the float comes back for the machine.
